FUNEBARIUM - an exhibition about death

An exhibition about death in Bispebjerg cemetery's urn hall. Join us for an evening in the temporary exhibition FUNEBARIUM - a space for reflection and conversation about death and its many facets. In a straightforward and poetic way, the exhibition tackles both the big and small questions that arise when we lose someone or have to leave here ourselves.

Here you can hear about everything from ethics and dignity to the cultural history of death, you can remember those you have lost and you can (if you have the courage) try to lie in a coffin yourself.

Central to the exhibition is conversation and being able to talk about- and hopefully live better with - death .
