Culture Night at The Museum of Danish Resistance will be full of music and war vehicles

Real military vehicles from the Second World War will be at display when volunteers from the 'Danish Military Historical Vehicle Association' show their cars in uniforms from that time. Copenhagen Jazztrio plays in the museum's foyer and sets the mood for an enjoyable night.

Visit the exhibition and discover how the German occupation affected the Danish population and how the resistance movement began. You will get the opportunity to tap phone conversations and decode the codes of the Germans or meet our museum's guides who show weapons and tells stories about the Danish resistance.

Every hour a sequence from the play Ellen - welcome to hell is played. Please note that the that there is limited space for the performance.

Ellen - welcome to Hell

Experience a sequence from the play Ellen - welcome to Hell . The performance is based on resistance woman Ellen Nielsen's experiences during the occupation. In 1944 she is captured by the Gestapo and sent to the Ravensbrük concentration camp.

The play is in Danish. Please note that there is limited space for the performance.
