”If you use what you have" - When We Create with Hans Christian Andersen

At Bakkehuset, we delve into Hans Christian Andersen's approach to poetry and writing together with author Jesper Wung-Sung. We are exhibiting Andersen's nearly completed manuscript for the story "In the Nursery." The poet is still not entirely satisfied, and he has crossed out and added to the handwritten document. Andersen first sketched the ideas for this story at the age of 8, but only published it when he was 60. The story followed him throughout his life! At the Fairy Tale Academy, both adults and children can spend the evening creating their own fairy tales or continuing Andersens’s story. Late evening there will be a bedtime reading by actress Bodil Jørgensen.
