Come explore the city and everything that makes it come alive.
Inspired by the new exhibition Cities for People, you can dance high above the city at a Silent Disco, get creative with Emma at Kreabix, roast marshmallows over the fire, or create your very own urban creature in the Family Workshop. You can also explore our current exhibitions, take a ride down the DAC Slide, or eat dinner at DAC Café. Outside, experience City Life City Light, a light installation created especially for Culture Night.
We’re filling DAC with light, play, music, and experiences for kids and adults alike, right in the heart of the city, with people at the center.

Build with Emma from Ramasjang’s Kreabix on Culture Night! Let your imagination run wild and transform rubbish and recycled materials into quirky buildings, green urban spaces and new ideas for the city. Emma will attend from 18-21. The workshop hostes will continue from 21-23.
What does a city creature look like, and what does it love most about the city? Stop by DAC’s Educatorium and draw, cut, and sew your very own city creature using fabric, yarn, and other materials. Find inspiration in the playful shapes featured in the exhibition Cities for People, or invent a creature entirely your own.
For Culture Night, experience the interactive light installation City Life City Light on Bryghuspladsen, right outside the entrance to DAC. The installation is created by Circuit Circus. Using data on movement and activity, the work creates ever-changing patterns of light. Its theme is inspired by the current exhibition Cities for People
Come join us around the fire pits at Bryghuspladsen. Roast marshmallows and warm up by the cozy little fires right in the heart of the city.
Come dance at our Silent Disco with sweeping views of Copenhagen’s rooftops and harbor. If it rains or gets too windy, we’ll take the party indoors.
