A grotesque encounter between literature, contemporary art and live music in the artists’ house opposite Østerport Station

Look for the moon rising above Østerport Station and step inside Willumsen’s iconic wooden building, home to Denmark’s oldest artists’ association for more than 125 years. Here, you can experience the exhibition Nervetråde, which weaves the nervous sensibility of literature around 1900 into the frayed nerves of contemporary visual art.

This evening, the exhibition branches out into live performances by two prominent artists from the local music scene:

20:00 — Emil F

22:00 — Ydegirl

In addition, visual artist Henrik Plenge Jakobsen, politician Rosa Lund, actor and writer Rosalinda Mynster and musician Heva Vaupel have created personal mixtapes that provide a soundtrack as you move through the galleries, while Café Pegasus serves carefully prepared dishes at affordable prices until midnight.
