Visit the Youth Crime Board

Come and see what happens when a case involving a young person who is suspected or convicted of a crime is brought before the Youth Crime Board. The police or the courts may refer cases involving 10 to 17-year-olds to the Board, which then decides what interventions and support measures should be provided to the young person.

During the evening, we will conduct a fictional Board hearing several times, giving you the opportunity to experience how a meeting typically takes place. You will be able to ask questions to Board members, a defence lawyer representing young people, a child psychologist, and representatives from the Youth Supervision Service and the municipality.
