Unearth x Strøm in Cisternerne

Cisternerne once held Copenhagen's drinking water. Drained, it left a cathedral beneath Søndermarken, where no daylight reaches and a single sound reverberates up to 17 seconds.

For one night only, Unearth and Strøm transform the underground space into an immersive encounter between sound, light and architecture. A newly commissioned sound work and a site-responsive light installation, respond to Cisternerne's extraordinary acoustics, darkness and scale. Light traces the vaults as sound travels through the arches, revealing it as rarely seen or heard.
