Join one or more of the 6 mini concerts featuring organ music, vocal music, and choral singing in Christian IV’s beautiful church.
The Copenhagen artist collective Vertigo will illuminate the evening with a large projection on the church’s vaults. The light falls directly on the architecture, following ribs, arches, and masonry, so that the vaults themselves become the canvas of the artwork. The projection is not a separate image alongside the music, but a transformation of the space the audience is already sitting in. The evening’s program thus unfolds both sonically and visually throughout the church. The lighting is tailored to each piece and changes character along with them, following the course of the music throughout the evening.
