Archaeology up close

In the Archaeological Workshop you can get up close to some of the many archaeological finds that every day emerge from the ground beneath our feet.

On Culture Night you can get close to the many fantastic finds, and people of all ages can meet the museum's archaeologists and study the finds themselves up close. In the Archaeological Workshop, we have done away with the notion that you can only see and not touch, and therefore all visitors have the opportunity to handle finds like 5000-year-old flint axes, small Dutch clay pipes, ice skates made of animal bones, leather shoes from the 1600s and fine porcelain cups from China.
