In the solo exhibition “AS THE WHITE GRASS GROWS” at Officinet, jewellery artist Malene Kastalje navigates the space between decay and transformation, between the withered, the sharp and the opulent, and the unpredictability and vulnerability inherent in being on a journey.
The exhibition features a series of sculptural jewellery pieces and wall objects in pigmented silicone, presented alongside sound in a colour-saturated space. Several of the works have been exhibited internationally, from Tokyo to the world’s most renowned jewellery exhibition, Schmuck in Munich — but now the Danish public has the opportunity to see them for the first time.
