Come in and discover the historic Christiansborg Palace at your own pace. You can meet representatives from political parties and staff members, who will give you an insight into everyday life in the Danish Parliament and the work that goes into shaping the country’s laws.
All visitors will be requested to go through a security check at the Visitors' Entrance.
As there is a limit on the number of people allowed in the building at any one time, please be prepared to queue.

Come and meet the political parties, who will be setting up in various rooms throughout the building this evening. They are regularly publishing programmes on their own websites and social media.
During Culture Night, you can meet representatives from the South Schleswig Association and the Federation of Germans in Northern Schleswig. The associations will be publishing programmes on their own websites and social media.
Step inside the most iconic room at Christiansborg or view it from one of the galleries. This is where political debates take place and laws are passed. Meet staff who know the parliamentary Chamber inside out and hear the stories behind it. How is the Chamber laid out, and who sits where, and why?
The Speaker’s Office is located in the Lobby. The office serves as the venue for meetings of the Presidium and meetings with guests from Denmark and abroad. The Speaker will be present for part of the evening. You will also have the opportunity to meet the staff who assist the Speaker and the Presidium on a day-to-day basis.
In the Finance Committee’s room and the European Affairs Committee’s room, you can meet committee members at various times throughout the evening and hear staff talk about the work of the Danish Parliament’s committees. Some of the talks will be in English.
How quickly can you find facts in the Danish Hansard without the help of artificial intelligence? Visit the Library’s Reading Room and find out, or test how well you know the Constitution. Here you can also experience the unique atmosphere, see the hand-painted map of Greenland and the map of Denmark showing the railway network as it was in 1919.
The Office of the Folketing Hansard is the department within Parliament that produces the minutes of the debates in the Chamber and proofreads Bills and proposal for parliamentary resolution. Come and meet the spelling experts. (In Danish).
Come and visit the Danish Parliament's information services, where you can test your knowledge of the Danish Parliament and the EU on the giant wheel of fortune. You can also pick up a copy of the Constitution and other materials on democracy and the EU.
Meet the Danish Parliament's guides and listen to short talks on the ground floor and in the Lobby. Check out the portraits of the Prime Ministers, or visit the Conversation Room, where the portrait of 30 women who have shaped democracy across time, generations and party affiliations is on display.
At Christiansborg Palace, the artworks on display range from atmospheric paintings of the Golden Age to modern portraits. Pick up a copy of the publication Kunsten i Folketinget (Art in the Danish Parliament), which details the collection of visual art, from the information desks on the second floor, and explore the art.

Snapstinget, the Danish Parliament’s restaurant, will be open. Just turn up, there’s no need to book a table. You can also buy food and drink at the Snapstinget café and the kiosk.
