An evening with Hemingway

The man, the myth, the legend: Ernest Hemingway. Almost all of us have read one of his books - and we dare say that today's literature would look different had it not been for him. This year, on Culture Night, we will bring Hemingway into the 21st century with no less than three different talks. We serve Hemingway's signature cocktail, "death in the afternoon", all evening! Talks will be held in Danish

19.00-19.45: Introduction to Hemingway by Professor Marianne Kongerslev: How do we read Hemingway today?

20.00-20.45: Conversation between Anne Green Munk and Natasha Illum Berg: Hemingway's Africa – geographical area or exotic dream vision?

21.00-21.45: Conversation between Natasha Illum Berg and Mikkel Frey Damgård: Hunting with Hemingway in the bag
