The Path of Peace

The musical drama ‘The Path of Peace' is performed at Christiansborg Riding Ground.

Artist Sonja Strange is behind the work in close collaboration with The Guard Hussar Regiment Mounted Squadron and the Royal Stables.

The female figure 'Europe' takes us on a journey through time where horses and hussars move to music by Pelle Nyhuus, with lyrics by Sonja Strange, where soldiers' letters unfold in the most beautiful way by opera singer Laura Helene Hansen, the vocal ensemble DUVE and Sorø Monastery Church's Boys' Choir.

Supported by:

Queen Margrethes and Prince Henrik's Foundation, Augustinus Foundation, Aage and Johanne Louis-Hansen's Foundation, Culture Night, the Danish Bandmasters' Association, Operaens Venners Fond and Ernst B. Sund Fonden
