G. A. Hagemanns Kollegium and J. F. Willumsen

Come by when one of Denmark’s most historic residence halls opens its doors—a place where art and engineering go hand in hand.
The residence hall has witnessed both tragedies and triumphs, and its history is inseparably intertwined with that of Copenhagen itself. Experience an exceptionally strong sense of community as former and current residents share stories about everything that has taken place over the past 118 years and explain how the hall operates today.
Throughout the evening, visitors can join guided tours of the residence hall and attend expert talks on the painter J. F. Willumsen, whose artworks The Mountaineer (Bjergbestigersken) and The Physicist (Fysikeren) adorn the building. Refreshments will be available during the event.
