Libeskind in Light

To mark the 80th birthday of world-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, light artist Arthur van der Zaag will create an interpretation of Libeskind’s building, the Danish Jewish Museum.
Through a unique light installation—experienced only on this evening—van der Zaag conveys and interprets the narratives embedded in the museum’s design: flight, the sea, and turmoil, as well as light, hope, and survival.

Spaces of Time

Light artists Båll and Brand are creating the light installation "Tidsrum". The War Museum, the Danish Parliament, the Danish Jewish Museum, and the Royal Library on Slotsholmen are being linked by a unified light installation, in which each entrance is marked by a simple formation of light beams that create Roman numerals in the air.
