The Nyhavn Skippers' Guild invites you to an "Open Ship" event featuring the heritage vessels in the Nyhavn Veteran Ship Harbor.

Come aboard and experience the authentic atmosphere below deck, where maritime cultural heritage is shared through the ships' unique stories. The mood is enhanced by sea shanties and live music, while maritime images projected onto a hoisted mainsail bring history to life.
On the quayside, visitors can witness traditional maritime crafts. A ropemaker crafts rope on the ropewalk, and demonstrations of ropework and sailmaking take place. Fire pits and kerosene lamps create an atmospheric setting for the event.
Stories of the ships are shared, creating a truly unique maritime atmosphere in the old harbor, which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary as Copenhagen’s harbor for vintage ships.
