Experience Danish Sign Language
Step into the Church of the Deaf and experience the beauty of Danish Sign Language through eyes, hands and heart – through storytelling, music and reflection. Everything will be interpreted into spoken Danish.
Here you can experience Troels Madsen’s theatrical storytelling of The Brothers Lionheart, as well as take part in a Sign Language Vespers, alternating between musical performances by the sign language choir with Ditte, Camilla and Sarah, and reflection and prayer led by priest Helena.
You can also learn some signs and hear more about the Church of the Deaf.
The event is open to everyone – children and adults, hearing and Deaf guests alike.
