On Kulturnat, Grundtvig’s Forum opens the doors to historic Vartov and invites you to an evening filled with singing, storytelling, poetry, music, conversation and community.

Inspired by Grundtvig’s ideas about the spirit, we explore what emerges when people come together – through words, song, imagination and community. You can experience inspiring conversations, choral singing, concerts, communal singing, guided tours and a creative workshop for children and the young at heart.

Along the way, you can explore the Grundtvig Library, hear stories about Vartov’s history and future – and, of course, join in the singing.

And as darkness falls, we light the bonfire.
