Discover The Royal Kitchen beneath Christiansborg Palace as The Royal Danish Collection opens the doors to an atmospheric experience during Culture Night 2026. Step directly into a kitchen furnished as it was in the time of King Christian X and discover everything from ingenious culinary utensils to Northern Europe’s largest collection of copper cookware, spanning more than 250 years of history.

On Culture Night, the experience gains an extra dimension through atmospheric decorations, sound and light installations. Visitors can also enjoy stories about royal culinary traditions and life in the kitchen while the royal household dined upstairs.
