We meet in the district court

Come inside Copenhagen City Court and discover how a more than 200-year-old building provides the setting for a modern court.

Several courtrooms will be open, and you will have the opportunity to ask judges and court secretaries questions about the proceedings in a court case. You can also learn about the history of the court and explore the art that characterises the City Court.

Take part in a mock trial and gain an insight into how a court hearing takes place in practice. Tickets are available from the entrance hall of the Courthouse, as places are limited.

You can also learn about future powers of attorney in Denmark and watch short films about court cases concerning online behaviour, street violence and the knives in nightlife.
