Welcome! Meet the politicians behind Copenhagen and hear about the city’s big decisions. Get your heart racing or relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

City Hall is packed with activities for one special night: taste the famous pancakes, join guided tours, take on green challenges, try VR and creative activities, make jewellery from old cutlery, enter the Energy Escape Room, play games or football, and enjoy music and sing-along with Sankt Annæ Girls’ Choir. Discover Jens Olsen’s World Clock and see how City Hall prepares for a royal visit.

Outside, get special-effects injuries from the Home Guard or climb aboard a huge electric street sweeper. Come by and experience City Hall like never before!

Come by our stand and meet two politicians from different parties at each café table. Ask about life at Copenhagen City Hall, the big decisions and the small battles to make the city better. Discover that more unites than divides us when 55 politicians work together for Copenhagen. Have a chat – and get to know the city better.

Buy and taste the world-famous town hall pancakes. We also sell chili sin carne, soft drinks, coffee, and tea. We accept cash, Dankort, and MobilePay. Takes place in the basement canteen.

The acclaimed girls’ choir Sankt Annæ Pigekor invites you to Kulturnat at Copenhagen City Hall! From the balconies, the choir will perform with Chief Conductor Anne-Terese Sales and three musicians — and invite you to sing along. Experience a world-class choir and the joy of singing along!

Make your own jewelry from old cutlery

Together with designer Sofie Valdis, we will dig into the kitchen drawers and create rings and pendants from old cutlery. Alongside the workshop you will meet municipal staff from the recycling department and learn about the work at the recycling centers. Space is limited, and participants must be at least 13 years old or accompanied by an adult.

Experience Jens Olsen's world clock

The clock is an advanced astronomical clock. The clock consists of 12 movements, has a total of over 14,000 parts. It is mechanical and worth seeing and hearing about. The drawings for the watch were made in 1934-1936, and the manufacture of the clock itself took place from 1943 until 1955.

In the City Hall Shop at Copenhagen City Hall you can be enriched with knowledge and information about Copenhagen's beautiful and unique City Hall. In the town hall shop, it is also possible to purchase beautiful products, all of which have a connection to Copenhagen.

Experience the Town Hall Home Guard's

Experience the Home Guard's vehicles, equipment, what we get to eat in the field. There will also be an opportunity to get a make-up so you look injured. Come and talk with the Town Hall Guards and see the displays and the equipment we use. It all takes place right outside the Town Hall on the balustrade.

The mighty machines take care of our planet

Have you ever seen a real excavator? Or sat inside a really cool sweeper? So come and see our mighty machines that help take care of our planet. They are powered by electricity and do not emit CO2 when we use them to repair and clean the city's roads. We put our best, coolest and most climate-friendly machines on display in front of the Town Hall.

Guided tour: The Citizens' Hall with a politician

Discover the City Hall’s main hall—the heart of Copenhagen—and hear a politician talk about their work in the City Council. MEETING POINT: By the Jason statue in the City Hall Hall, under the arch to the left as viewed from the main entrance. Duration: approx. 30 minutes. Requires a Culture Pass – the ticket alone is not sufficient.

Guided tour Politician shows the Magistrate's Hall

Experience a politician telling stories, with the City Hall’s Magistrate’s Hall as the setting. MEETING POINT: At the foot of the Magistrate’s Staircase. Go through the archway to the right in the City Hall Hall, viewed from the main entrance. Duration: approx. 30 minutes. Requires a Culture Pass – the ticket alone is not sufficient.
