Experience the rebuilding of Børsen up close

Visit Sammen om Børsen during Culture Night 2026 and see at close range how Christian IV’s iconic building is being rebuilt following the fire.

The visitor centre is housed in 16 interconnected containers in the heart of the Børsen construction site. From here, you can enjoy a unique panoramic view of the work to reconstruct and restore this building, which has stood at the heart of Copenhagen for more than 400 years.

Explore a detailed model of Børsen and an 80-metre timeline tracing the building’s architecture, transformation and significance to Danish business life through four centuries.

The exhibition also brings you closer to the traditional materials and specialist craftsmanship involved in bringing Børsen back to life. See and touch timber, bricks, copper and sandstone, and discover more through short films, animations and explanatory texts in Danish and English.
