The Unseen Vesterbro

Come by Mariakirken on Culture Night in Copenhagen and experience music and images in the beautiful church space. Photographer Shazia Khan has a special eye and focuses on photographing what the eye doesn't usually see: in patterns, colours and light, she creates new images. It's a meditative experience where you can also freely associate yourself. She has travelled around Vesterbro this time, capturing unseen details and beautiful moments. The music is inspired by the sounds of Vesterbro and is composed by trumpeter Ole Reimer, who also plays live. Of course, there are also images and music from the wider world, which is also part of Vesterbro.
